The original version of Frozen Ever After, which opened in 2016, featured projected faces, a technological marvel at the time. However, these projections sometimes fell short in terms of realism. Fast forward to 2023, and a second version of the ride made its debut at Hong Kong Disneyland with World of Frozen, showcasing Audio-Animatronics with articulated, physical faces, a significant leap forward in technology.
